Better safe than sorry. The more copies of your photos in different places, the better. Here is my recommended backup method for your wedding gallery!
1. Download your entire gallery to one or two of your own hard drives.
2. Download your entire gallery to a portable hard drive to keep at a trusted relative or friend's house.
3. Upload your entire gallery to an off-site cloud service such as iCloud or Dropbox.
4. Print your images! While I don't discount the importance of backing your images up, it's incredibly important to remember that these digital devices aren't made to last forever. It's smart to also have physical copies of your photos (especially your favorites) either printed or in an heirloom album that is meant to last for a very long time!
5. If (when) you have found over the years that one of your hard drives has failed, replace it so that by the time the next one fails, you will still have plenty of copies!
